Abstract

This article conducts a doctrinal-normative analysis of the concept of the consumer in equity-based participation in construction in Uzbekistan, discussing the distinctive features and essential characteristics of this concept. It further analyzes the possibility that a consumer in equity-based participation in construction may encompass a citizen (natural person) or a non-commercial legal entity that orders, or intends to order, construction works not for the purpose of generating profit but for personal consumption or other purposes, as well as equity holders (participants) falling under this definition.
